Terms and Conditions
Effective October 9, 2026
Using this website
These terms govern your use of homeupgradeinitiative.us. If you do not agree, do not use the website. You must be at least 18 to submit an enquiry or request services through linked providers.
Our role
Home Upgrade Initiative provides informational content and links to independent service and quote providers. We are not a contractor, government agency, lender, insurer, or a provider of professional legal, financial, or construction advice. We do not perform installation or repairs, provide government benefits, or guarantee approval, funding, free work, availability, or results.
Quotes and independent providers
A request is not a contract for work and does not guarantee a match, a response, or a quote. Verify a provider's identity, licence, insurance, references, pricing, scope, warranties, and terms directly. Any project, financing, or service agreement is between you and the provider. Prices, eligibility, credit checks, funding terms, and timing are determined by that provider.
Enquiries and communication
Provide accurate information and only information you are entitled to share. The contractor form opens a draft email; you must send it to submit the enquiry. Sending an enquiry is not acceptance into a network. Contact consent requested by an external form is governed by that form. Using this website alone is not consent to automated marketing calls or texts.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, transmit malware, impersonate another person, scrape information unlawfully, or interfere with operation. You may use content for personal information; reproduction or commercial exploitation requires authorisation from the relevant rights holder.
Links and advertising
External sites operate independently and may have different terms and privacy practices. Some links are compensated referrals. Read our Advertising Disclosure and Privacy Policy.
No guarantees
Information is provided as available and may become outdated. We do not warrant completeness, uninterrupted access, or that content fits a particular project. An appropriately qualified professional should assess your individual circumstances before work begins.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on general content, independent providers, interrupted access, or unauthorised third-party conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and disputes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version. Contact support first to explain any issue so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration or waive non-waivable rights under applicable law.
